What Will The Future Of In-Flight Entertainment Look Like?

My guess would have been holographic movies à la Princess Leia or virtual reality movie watching at my window seat. But alas, the potential is not so vivid, but not so dim so as to be totally disappointed. As this write-up explores, there’s plenty of new technologies in the pipeline to assistance pass these few hrs spent on a plane with out having to resort to such mundane routines such as reading (gasp!) or interacting with other people (ugh!).

Digital magazines are in all probability the most futuristic and most very likely to be observed soon, due to the fact they can each entertain and increase money (duty-free of charge mags) for the ailing airliners.

Wi-fi is still embarrassingly non-existent on most flights (unless of course you’re on Virgin America or a handful of other folks), but wi-fi will soon be as ubiquitous as crying infants on most planes in the close to future as soon as everybody figures out how to shell out for it, that is.

iPhone-like gadgets connected to your main seatback display will allow you utilize three-d maps, make in-flight calls, or fire up some games although you test to steer clear of that guy who just took off his footwear in the seat above.

Wicklow Mountains National Park, Ireland – With Samsung S9 Plus

The Wicklow Mountains National Park is one of my favourite places in Ireland and I don’t know why it has taken me this long to write about it. I took a trip up there very early one weekend to test out the new Samsung S9 Plus as part of a collaboration with Three UK and Samsung. I had never driven up there that early and it was incredible.
