New York Photography: 10 Best Instagram Spots

Image
Reading Time: 4 minutes Manhattan, New York sunset via Kevin Lu @SweatEngine The Big Apple is calling not just you, but your camera too. People come to NYC for many reasons. Some come to chase fame and money, some come for freedom and equality or to try something different. Heck, people come for anything. Reading Time: 4 minutes Who: Introducing Sean Ensch, California expat residing in Norway and traveling the world. A photographer, social media connoisseur, and #TravelBreak adventurer, Sean isn’t a dreamer, he’s a doer. Where: West Bay Beach, Roatan, Honduras   Highlights: The best things about West Bay Beach in Roatan are the white sand beaches, crystal clear water, and thriving coral reefs to explore. There are many tourist activities at your disposal including fishing trips, parasailing, snorkeling, SUP rentals, zip lining, eco parks, and more. Best Time to Go: Fall leaves the least amount of crowds and lingering best weather conditions.   Money to Spend: In between budget & luxury. We stayed in a vacation rental, which is very common in the tourist towns of Roatan. For a studio, we paid 1000$ for two weeks. Cost of food varies from cheap local grill food at $...

It is too easy to fall into aimless wandering where nothing tangible is achieved. I don’t want to traipse around the world with nothing to show for it. While many employers are forgiving of a gap year, if the blank space in your resume is too prominent it will raise some unwanted questions and jeopardize your chances of being hired. My boss describes the problem with long-term, purposeless travel well in the following statement: “While we can claim that we can live on the fringes of society and do not need to conform t...
